Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the Office of the Commanding Officer, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems (NAVFAC) Midlant of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of the organization's programs and administrative operations. You will assign work to subordinates based on employee's capabilities, priorities and difficulty. You will provide technical and administrative oversight, advice and instruction. You will identify and arrange for employee developmental and training requirements. You will hear and resolve employee complaints, referring series complaints lacking resolution to higher level supervision. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Planning work, setting priorities and scheduling work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work; 2) Assessing impacts of business systems on financial process; 3) Utilizing integrated federal management systems and sub-systems to extract data, identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity; 4) Analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of the organization's programs and administrative operations; 5) Identifying and analyzing problems to identify the causes and choose courses of action that balance the interests of the mission and stakeholders; 6) Applying fiscal law, policies, regulations, principles, standards and procedures to financial management; and 7) Preparing various financial reports, justifications, charts, graphs, statistical and narrative data, etc. for top-level presentations and briefings to improve operations, correct deficiencies, and prevent recurrence of problems.
