Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST T32,PDD0964000and is part of the AZ CFMO, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located at CFMO in Phoenix, Arizona. This position includes responsibility for supervising and managing the state environmental program in conformance with Federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Serves as the focal point and technical expert to the Adjutant General; and provides advisory services to all units within the state regarding National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Installation Restoration Program (IRP), Air Quality, Water Quality, Hazardous Waste Management and various other environmental programs. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted: SFC/E7 to MSG/E-8 Officer: 2LT/O-1 to CPT/O-3 Warrant Officer: WO1/W-1 to CW3/ W-3 Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess any Army MOS, Branch, or Series SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1 year specialized experience to at least the next lower grade that provided experience, education or training demonstrating the knowledge of the principles, practices, and concepts of an environmental program sufficient to serve as the expert technical advisor on the various environmental programs. Experience demonstrating knowledge of environmental issues, problems and solutions regarding federal, state, rural and community environmental regulations. Experience in program planning or administration concerned with environmental protection or other activities related to environmental problems. Experience in an advisory or research capacity involving the creation of solutions to problems concerning environmental protection or other related activities. Experience using on-site investigation techniques, analysis of results and development of conclusions to insure conformance to environmental regulations. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
