Supervisor Warehouse - Outbound
Overview

Please note this position is based in our Glendale, AZ Distribution Center and the outbound shift starts at 1pm. The Outbound Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for a team of selectors who are responsible for filling orders to ship to Sprouts stores. This position will maintain and direct the shipping team; ensuring all team members works in a safe environment and ensures the crew's ability to complete their job successfully.


Overview of Responsibilities

Maintain employee work schedules and assigned tasks to Team Members.Coach and train Team Members on policies and procedures.Ensure Team Members work in a safe manner following Sprouts Farmers Market policies and procedures and Local, State, and Federal regulations.Greet Team Members and have a short meeting reviewing all updates.Assign duties to the Team Members ensuring safety checks on equipment are completed.Check all pick tickets to make sure that any shortages are truly shortages and not items that were missed by the selector.Review completed pallets to ensure they are properly stacked, wrapped, and tagged with a store number for shipping.Ensure all pallets are ready for shipping, staged in the proper refrigerated area until time of loading, then moved to the proper staging area for loading.Audit a completed order to ensure the Selector did not short or over ship any cases.Ensure Team Members keep all debris off the floor for safety and prevention of damage to the equipment.
Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years’ supervisory experience in a warehouse or Distribution CenterForklift certification requiredExperience with Perishable foods preferredAbility to provide excellent customer service while managing concurrent projects and meeting SLA’sProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAdvance knowledge of a WMS systemStrong verbal and written communication skills
