The Opportunity
The Supervisor Technical Support is a high-visibility leadership role within the Med-eScreen Construction Team. This position is responsible for overseeing all onsite medical and testing services for construction clients within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate brings extensive management experience, a strong background in Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and excels in customer relations and problem-solving.
Territory: Atlantic Region – New York to Florida
What You’ll Work On
Provide direct supervision of 15–20+ EMTs/Paramedics, including hiring, training, scheduling, payroll, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Develop and implement Performance Development Plans (PDPs) for all direct reports.
Oversee all project operations within the assigned region.
Make sound, financially responsible decisions aligned with company policies and procedures.
Allocate resources effectively to meet regional productivity and staffing goals.
Administer daily drug and alcohol testing programs at project sites.
Represent the company at client safety meetings and insurance calls.
Maintain regular communication with internal leadership and cross-functional teams.
Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Implement controls and feedback systems to monitor project performance.
Serve as an experienced pre-hospital care provider within the region.
Attend all project safety kick-off meetings.
Conduct regular site evaluations and maintain strong client relationships.
Ensure full medical staff coverage across all projects, including during absences.
Provide emergency coverage as needed, including during extended hours and weekends.
Remain on-call for urgent project needs, including medical incidents and scheduling issues.
Maintain daily communication with project teams.
Deliver first aid and EMS care in accordance with applicable guidelines.
Coordinate with client risk and case management teams on workers’ compensation claims.
Assess injuries and arrange appropriate medical transport.
Review and ensure quality of all medical reports and case management documentation.
Respond to emergency calls and provide timely assistance.
Communicate effectively with safety managers, EMS personnel, and medical facilities.
Manage onsite inventory and coordinate supply needs with the Operations Manager.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Med-eScreen leadership or clients.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
3–4 years of active EMS experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction, OSHA compliance, or workers’ compensation is a plus.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
EMT/Paramedic
OSHA 30; STSC or CHTS preferred
CPR & First Aid Instructor preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and time management.
Scope & Complexity
Supervises EMT/Paramedic teams across multiple projects within a designated region.
Number of direct reports varies based on project volume.
Requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Interfaces with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams (medical staff, HR, IT, operations) and external partners (clients, safety personnel, insurance representatives).
Leadership & Talent Management
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of medical staff.
Ensure compliance with licensure, certifications, and corporate training.
Coach and mentor staff, providing career development opportunities.
Serve as a role model and empower employees to take ownership of their roles.
Conduct quarterly refresher training and performance evaluations.
Recognize and reward performance; administer corrective actions as needed in collaboration with HR.
Physical Requirements
Work is primarily conducted on active construction sites.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
Must work in extreme weather conditions (hot and cold).
Travel within the assigned territory up to 75%.

The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
