You will oversee a small team tasked with conducting detailed analysis to inform data-driven decision making, lead capability development for talent across Projects, and strategic planning for the Projects Leadership Team.

Note: This is a 15-month temporary, full-time position, with the possibility of extension. 

What you will do: 

Coordinate and analyze reporting of the Projects organization’s resource utilization, capacity, skill coverage, and report on KPIs such as billability, project staffing levels, and training participation to support decision making through regular and ad-hoc analysis.Liaise with Human Resources Business Partner to actively address current and future resourcing needs, ensuring insight to key resource succession and development planning in collaboration with Projects Leadership Team.Develop project strategies and plans to meet business needs, coordinate stakeholders to achieve milestones, monitor progress, and highlight risks or dependencies. Collaborate across the organization to provide informed recommendations for decision-making.Provide strategic support to leadership, ensuring goals and objectives are translated into rolling roadmaps and strategies. Develop and track detailed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that integrate across internal and external collaborators to measure impact and track progress on set roadmap activities.Accountable to deliver on the Capability development roadmap and plan across the Projects organization in partnership with interdisciplinary, cross-functional, multi-stakeholder teams.Support the Projects Leadership Team on strategic focus areas through coordinating and preparing materials for regularly scheduled touchpoints, and coach, facilitate sessions to set strategic direction and vision.

Who you are: 

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field, with 10 or more years of proven experience. An MBA is an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered. High level ability at coordinating and prioritizing multiple tasks while driving critical initiatives.  Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams. Outstanding writing, editing, and verbal communication skills; confident in digital communication platforms (e.g. Teams, Teams Live, Stream, SharePoint).  Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects with a Project Management Professional (PMP®), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®), or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification (strongly preferred). PROSCI Organizational Change Management certification is an asset. 

Working Conditions: 

Office environment. Stress levels can be above normal as project work is deadline oriented, highly visible, and numerous priority project tasks are conducted simultaneously. Approximately 30% travel within Canada and United States.
