**Job Title: Operations Manager**
**Location:** Bilaspur
**Department:** Operations
**Reports to:** Regional Operations Manager
**Experience required:** 10–15 years in warehousing/operations management
**Position Purpose**
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the seamless delivery of services across all business lines at the designated location. The role encompasses oversight of operational performance, facilities management, OHSE and risk management, and integration of newly acquired businesses. The incumbent will play a critical role in maintaining service quality, supporting business growth, and aligning with Iron Mountain's global standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Operations & Facility Management**
+ Manage day-to-day operations across assigned locations to meet performance targets.
+ Ensure facilities are maintained to Iron Mountain standards and support future business growth.
+ Oversee compliance readiness and support customer audits.
+ Maintain effective organizational structure and define clear job roles within the team.
**System & Process Compliance**
+ Ensure SOP compliance and data accuracy in ReQuest/O’Neil systems.
+ Review and monitor system usage and address deviations.
**Resource & Cost Management**
+ Control and optimize headcount in line with budget requirements.
+ Manage AMC and equipment maintenance costs.
+ Implement cost control initiatives including FTE optimization, overtime monitoring, and facility productivity improvements.
**Customer Service Excellence**
+ Support Customer Service teams in issue resolution and service improvement.
+ Ensure effective communication and prompt response to customer queries.
**People Management**
+ Hire, develop, coach, and retain a high-performing and geographically dispersed team.
+ Lead performance management, goal setting, and talent development.
+ Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
**Risk & Compliance**
+ Ensure adherence to OHSE policies and procedures.
+ Maintain a safe and secure working environment and monitor risk exposure.
+ Schedule and track maintenance of operational equipment to ensure compliance.
**Business Integration**
+ Facilitate seamless integration of newly acquired businesses into existing operations.
+ Promote adoption of Iron Mountain SOPs and operating systems (ReQuest/O’Neil).
**Continuous Improvement**
+ Identify, implement, and share operational best practices across locations.
+ Continuously assess processes for improvement and innovation.
**Required Experience**
+ 10–15 years of operations or warehousing management experience.
+ Proven experience in managing teams and achieving performance KPIs.
+ Experience in handling customer interactions and audits.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage cost centers effectively.
**Skills & Competencies**
+ Strong leadership and team management skills.
+ Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
+ Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Familiarity with ReQuest, O’Neil, and other warehouse management systems (preferred).
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
