General Summary

Supervises personnel and assists in managing the Imaging Department daily operations. Provides imaging services. Performs duties as on call team leader and is able to train new staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

Evaluates, for effectiveness, all services rendered and makes recommendations regarding addition and deletion of service. Develops and oversees departmental policies, philosophy, plan, goals and objectives. Maintains drug control for department, in conjunction with Pharmaceutical Services. Provides in service education for technologist and participates in instruction

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience:

5 years Relevant experience. Required and Supervisory experience. Required

Licenses:

Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Accredited program in Nuclear Medicine technology. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent communication/interpersonal skills. Computer skills.
