**Job Description** **Supervisor MSH Sinai Signature Services FT Days/Evenings (Flex/Split Shift) Weekdays/Weekends/Holidays** Responsible for the oversight of administrative activities consistent with departmental objectives, administrative policies, and practices. Provides direct supervision for administrative and support staff such as business associates, patient services liaisons, and discharge lounge team. Ensures the successful delivery of support services and satisfactory customer service within the department, unit, or care center. **Qualifications** + Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent combination of work experience and education. + 5 years of directly related experience with 1 year in a supervisory role or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience. Non-Bargaining Unit, M7T - Sinai Signature Services - MSH, Mount Sinai Hospital **Responsibilities** 1. Supervises a dynamic team, provides leadership, and discusses job performance to identify and resolve issues. 2. Plans and schedules daily work assignments of team to ensure proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing, space, and facilities for subsequent performance of duties. 3. Reviews and revises work processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations. 4. Tracks and reports on performance and operational measures. 5. Establishes and maintains liaison with other departments, units, or care centers, as well as within own department, to ensure effective coordination of work activities. 6. Upholds environment of care standards through active rounding with Support Services and Leadership, ensuring organized, clean, and welcoming spaces. 7. Assists in purchasing and procurement for supply and equipment within designated areas. 8. Fosters an environment of open communication and teamwork in support of the department and organization’s goals and objectives. 9. Guarantees compliance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures. 10. Enforces relevant policy updates and communication roll outs. 11. Monitors compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality laws. 12. Supports Joint Commission accreditation standards. 13. Addresses patient and visitor complaints in a timely, professional manner. 14. Ensures staff complete yearly training modules. 15. The salary range for the role is $66482.07 - $88900 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
