Make It With Pride.** Coordinate and implement all Chemical Lab activities related to physical, chemical and sensory testing according to the company and ISO 9001:2000 requirements. Coordinate microbiological activities regarding raw material, semi finished, finished and environmental testings. **How you will contribute** 1. Implements and maintains the laboratory quality assurance procedures and programs: - Ensures that appropriated QPEs requirements are implemented in the lab - Develops, implements and maintains all procedures and work instructions concerning sampling and testing of raw and packaging material, SFP and FG. - Implements and maintains the GLP in the lab 2. Manages the sensory test activity in the plant: - Develops and implements of sensory test procedures - Performs a screening of sensory panelist according to the Company requirements - Conducts the daily FP sensory panel in the plant 3. Manages the laboratory supplies and equipment : - Develops and implements the work and calibration check instruction for all available lab equipment - Trains the lab personnel according to the implemented work and calibration instruction - Ensures that all supplies used in the lab comply with the specified requirements and are of the quality needed 4. Manages the activity regarding safety and health protective work in the laboratory: - Develops and implements specific safety procedures and work instructions required to work safety in the lab - Ensures that the lab personal pass a safety trainings, appropriate to the field of work - Ensures that protective clothing and other protective items are provided to the lab personnel 5. Updates and implements the Analytical test methods according to the requirements provided by the R&D in Munich: - Ensures that the lab personal is trained regarding to the used in the Lab test methods 6. Assures that the requirements, established in Kraft Foods Microbiological Manual are fulfilled. Assures that site-specific practices and instructions are developed, documented, implemented, followed, maintained, and compiled: - Instructions for pathogen environmental monitoring - Instructions for Sanitation controls and pre-operational inspection - Instruction for incoming materials inspection, testing and CoA - SSE Instruction and procedures e. Laboratory operational requirements 7. Assures that each member of staff whether permanent or temporary is aware of the extent and limitations of their responsibilities and is trained in site – specific practices and instructions. Provides relevant updated information to the laboratory personnel in hygiene, laboratory safety matters also updated information in microbiological methods and instructions 8. Verifies the experimental data obtained. Based on the analyses performed determines whether product is in conformance with specified requirements and applicable regulations. Provides on request CoA. Executes Hold and Release procedures for non-conforming products in accordance with the requirements of the relevant Hold& Release procedure. Notifies all involved functions about the non – conforming product. 9. Supervise laboratory personnel to strictly follow the laboratory practices and procedures in order to prevent laboratory accidents and avoid microbiological contamination within laboratory facilities 10. Reviews and approves the protocol request forms. Assures the results are clearly and permanently recorded and identifiable to each personnel responsible for performance and authorization of results. Assures the results are readily available in the laboratory. 11. Manages laboratory supplies and technical support ensuring that the laboratory equipment is in good condition, certified annually and the records of checks are kept. 12. Coordinates the information regarding Ring test participation of the laboratory with CQ and QM. 13. Knows the ethical and legal compliance responsibilities of the position; raise questions and concerns when faced with an ethical or compliance issue; apply integrity in all aspects of professional conduct. 14.
