The Embassy Suites Los Angeles International Airport South is currently hiring an experienced Laundry Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing the laundry operations to ensure a constant supply of high-quality clean linens for the hotel and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the laundry department. 

What will I be doing?

As a Laundry Supervisor, you would be responsible for overseeing the laundry operations to ensure a constant supply of high-quality clean linen for the hotel and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the laundry department in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Managing the laundry operations - overseeing the sorting, washing, drying, and folding of linen, terry and other textile items. Responding to guest requests and providing assistance. 

Performs all stages of linen processing - including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, loading and unloading, folding, storing and delivering. 

Maintaining cleanliness and organization - ensuring the laundry area is clean, organized, and safe. 

Equipment maintenance - ensuring all laundry equipment is in a good working order and properly functioning. 

Inventory management - keeping track of supplies and equipment, including detergents, fabric softeners, and overall cleaning chemicals.

Team management, training and development - leading and guiding the laundry team to ensure efficient operations. Providing training and support to new employees and team members. 

***Pay Range: The starting wage for this role is $23.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand and communicate information for reasons such as safety and security, e.g., Product safety labels and emergency instructions.
