Summary
Coordinates and supervises the daily work and responsibilities of the Facilities Technicians, HVACR Mechanics, Electricians, Plumbers, Plant Operators, Night and Evening Shift Technicians, and Property Maintenance Technicians. Delegates work to the staff for the timely completion of work assignments. Ensures preventative maintenance, inspection and testing is completed as required.

Job DutiesSupervises the daily maintenance, operation, and function of the power plant and conducts and schedules inspections and repairs. Assists with the coordination of maintenance, testing and inspections of all mechanical equipment, life safety equipment, critical equipment, infection control equipment, structures and utilities. Schedules work hours, approves PTO, provides performance evaluations, and participates in financial budgeting and the improvement of operational processes. Ensures high-risk equipment preventative maintenance has a 100% completion rate. Ensures adequate inventory, prioritizes and procures resources to effectively conduct maintenance, testing and inspections; and maintains accounts in cost centers with in budget. Meets deadlines to ensure requested work performed consistently meets date/time by requestor or department. Develops and implements action plans to correct aging work orders.
Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED 5 years in facilities. Ability to communicates effectively and collaborate with colleagues, direct reports, contractors and others. Analytical and physical ability to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles; mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and good physical condition also required. Ability to interpret, understand, and edit operation manuals, mechanical drawings, and blueprints. Ability to read, understand, input, prioritize, and perform tasks from the computerized work order system. Knowledge of the practical application of mechanical and electrical practices and or construction and equipment technologies. DL - Driver's License_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Physical Demands
Lift over 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 140 lbs. Carry 80 lbs. short distances. Frequent standing/walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing and reaching overhead.
