Supervisor Customs

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Customs Supervisor for their Customs division. In this role, you will lead a high-performing customs team focused on operational excellence and superior customer service. You will oversee the timely and accurate filing of entries with Customs and Border Protection and Partner Government Agencies, ensuring smooth release and delivery of goods. Your leadership will drive team development, performance monitoring, and day-to-day operational success. Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

Lead and develop a high-performing customs team focused on exceptional customer service and operational excellenceRecruit, train, and assign team members to ensure optimal productivity and complianceMonitor team performance, balance workloads, and drive continuous process improvementsResolve issues impacting cargo release, delivery timelines, or customer satisfactionCollaborate with leadership and product teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiencyManage team financial performance and contribute to staffing and forecasting decisionsOversee customs operations, ensuring timely and accurate entry filings and regulatory complianceAct as an escalation point for customer issues and maintain strong client relationshipsDrive adherence to customer SOPs and corporate compliance policiesIdentify and track performance metrics to support team development and operational success

Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum 3 years of customs brokerage experience

Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityCCS CertifiedDirect or indirect supervisory, management or leadership experienceDemonstrated ability to lead, motivate and influence others, set a positive example, and create a productive, positive environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrategic and creative thinking skillsStrong problem-solving skillsValues a diverse and inclusive work environment

Compensation Range

$68,900.00 - $107,300.00

The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.  Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base pay only and do not include additional variable compensation.
