This is a valuable opportunity for an experienced Project Supervisor to join our innovative engineering team, where you will play a pivotal role in groundbreaking projects including an exciting multi-million-dollar flotation upgrade at our Zinc Lead Concentrator! The Role
Step into a challenging and rewarding position that offers diverse exposure to our Zinc Lead Concentrator operations, Water Infrastructure, and the Copper Concentrator as part of essential closure activities. You will work on a flexible 5/2, 4/3 dayshift roster (other rosters also available), reporting directly to the Superintendent – Concentrator Projects, and directing innovative engineering solutions. At the Zinc Lead Concentrator, we proudly process ore sourced from the nearby George Fisher Mine, and we are committed to this operation for the decades to come. You can rest assured that we are in this for the long haul!
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Promoting Safety: Guarantee the secure execution and implementation of mechanical and multidisciplinary projects, encompassing civil, structural, and electrical works.Overseeing Project Management: Manage contractor relationships, define project scopes, and handle planning, procurement, documentation control, resource allocation, and safety protocols.Executing Project Completion: Develop project scopes and manage timelines, financials, variations, and schedules for assured project delivery.Ensuring Quality: Implement robust quality assurance and control measures.Leading Teams: Supervise and inspire multidisciplinary crews to produce high-quality work.Continuous Improvement: Implement innovative strategies derived from workplace audits and inspections to enhance project outcomes.What You Bring to the Table:
A solid background in mechanical trades, civil construction, or engineering.S1, S2, S3 qualifications.Demonstrated experience in overseeing construction projects and managing teams.Proficient skills in executing project works, including timeline and cost management.The ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.Experience in processing, mining, or heavy industry environments.High computer literacy, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.A forward-thinking approach, proficient contract management skills, and a commitment to safety will empower you to lead your team to ensure operational efficiency.
