Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Clinic Supervisor provides operational leadership across multiple specialty practices, including the Center for Weight Management, Ear Nose and Throat Associates, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Sleep Medicine, Surgical Associates, First Assist, and Foot and Ankle, ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations across all service lines.
As our Clinic Supervisor, you will lead and manage the daily operations of our clinic, ensuring efficient patient flow, exceptional service delivery, and a productive work environment for our team.
Every day you will oversee administrative and clinical support staff, manage scheduling and facility resources, monitor compliance with policies and procedures, resolve patient and staff concerns, and participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize clinic performance.
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, a proven ability to manage complex clinic operations, and a commitment to patient satisfaction and team development. You will possess a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices, driving continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
Staff Supervision and Development:
Schedules, supervises and evaluates the work of assigned staff in accordance with established procedures; assists in identifying adequate staffing levels for appropriate coverage to meet budgetary and operational objectives; ensures that staff are qualified and properly trained to perform assigned job duties; interviews job candidates and makes employment and other personnel decisions in accordance with established guidelines; orients employees and holds regular staff meetings to keep employees appraised of all matters relevant to successful job performance; approves timecards; communicates performance standards and evaluates employee performance; counsels employees, providing constructive feedback and recognizing results achieved; participates in performance management activities and resolves technical issues referred by subordinates as beyond their scope of authority.
Acts as first line of escalation for all patients and assigned staff to resolve patient relations matters in a timely and courteous manner.
Supervises the daily operations of assigned support functions (including patient experience, care team operations, appointment scheduling, registration, check-in/check-out, collections, referrals, surgery scheduling, and other administrative duties) to ensure that all activities are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner and in accordance with professional standards, budget constraints, internal policies/standards/procedures and/or applicable legal/regulatory requirements.
Ensures patient information is entered and updated in appropriate systems and are accurately maintained in accordance with clinic policies and procedures.
Identifies opportunities to streamline current operations and implement approved procedural changes.
Job Requirements
Required
Bachelors Other related field and one year related work experience in the discipline that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities, or three years’ work experience in a discipline that would demonstrate attainment of the requisite job knowledge/abilities.
