Do you want to be an influencer in healthcare? **Apply for our Supervisor of Central Sterile role today!** **Job Summary and Qualifications** + You will lead the daily operations of all functions of Sterile Processing + You will supervise SPD techs assigned to specific area(s) related to decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, storage and distribution of instruments + You will assist the manager/ educator with training and orientation of staff + You will update tools used in the assembly of instrument sets and will be responsible for operations of the department in the absence of the manager + You will assist and participate in the department’s performance improvement activities **What qualifications you will need:** + IAHCSMM Certification required, or within one year of hire + Experience in processing surgical instruments and operation of sterilizers and instrument washers + Knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile processing desirable + SPD/ Central Service experience required Founded in 1901, Riverside Community Hospital is a 542-bed full-service acute care hospital.
