Job Description Summary

You will lead and supervise a team of carpenters and building maintenance staff, coordinating daily activities while also being on the tools and leading by example, ensuring all carpentry and building works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard to maintain our clients’ facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESLead, supervise, and support a team of carpenters and building maintenance staff, providing clear direction and hands-on leadership on siteCoordinate daily workloads, labour allocation, and job priorities to ensure efficient service deliveryWorkload will consist of a combination of reactive maintenance, minor project work, and assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) worksActively work on the tools as required, leading by example and maintaining high workmanship standardsLiaise with clients on site, ensuring works are completed to scope, timeframes, and client expectationsEnsure all works are completed in accordance with Health & Safety requirements and company procedures

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCEBuilding trade qualified (LBP – where applicable), with a strong carpentry backgroundPrevious experience supervising or leading carpentry teams in a commercial environment is highly desirableCommercial maintenance experience is highly desirableProven experience dealing directly with clients on site in a professional mannerStrong knowledge of, and commitment to, Health & Safety in a commercial environmentExcellent written and spoken EnglishAbility or willingness to learn to use a tablet/iPad for job dispatch, reporting, and communication
