Job Description As a Supervisor, you will oversee a team of 5-10 investigators who are responsible for supporting AML Alert Assessment and Case Investigations. You will provide guidance on investigations, compliance processes and regulatory issues, support the AML Operations Director by conducting regular risk assessments, evaluating the effectiveness of existing controls and identifying areas for improvements, and assist direct reports in the identification and analyzation of alerts/cases patterns and trends. Delivering written and oral reports to executive leadership is an important function of this role and the ability to help prioritize team workload, managing multiple priorities and adapting to meet deadlines is how you will be successful. Skills and Requirements 1+ years prior leadership experience managing a team of 5-10 team members Previous employment with FinCEN, SEC, FINRA, OCC, or attorneys with relevant financial experience may also be considered. Alternatively, individuals with bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields of study: Justice Studies, English, Journalism, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or other fields involving intensive research, writing, or data analysis with exposure to financial crimes compliance may also be considered. 2+ years of experience within the financial Crimes Compliance which may include Anti-Money Laundering (AML), financial crime investigations, law enforcement, Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), US PATRIOT Act, or fraud. Previous employment with FinCEN, SEC, FINRA, OCC, or attorneys with relevant financial experience may also be considered. Alternatively, individuals with bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields of study: Justice Studies, English, Journalism, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or other fields involving intensive research, writing, or data analysis with exposure to financial crimes compliance may also be considered. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and delivering Ideal candidates have a background in AML at a consulting firm or traditional bank, and recent experience managing AML operational teams Proficiency in using AML Monitoring systems and related software Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and delivering high-quality results within deadlines. Strong oral communication skills and ability to produce written summaries which clearly consolidate recommendations and conclusions
