Job Overview

 Responsible for developing, supervising, and maintaining the housekeeping departments by ensuring all staff follow proper facility and state requirements.  Also, it is a vital part of the interdisciplinary team and Quality Assurance teams and ensures that all housekeeping items are addressed as directed. Must have housekeeping experience in a supervisory role, or 2 years' supervisory experience required. Knowledge of Joint Commission JCAHO inspections & also infectious waste procedures scheduling.

Requirements:

Rotating Weekends and Holidays requiredShift working: Night 10:30pm -7:00am

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must know how to use common housecleaning implements such as mops, floor waxes, and scouring pads to keep areas clean and well serviced,Ability to follow oral or written instructionsWork with constant concern for the safety of all people, patients, visitors etc.Interacts in a positive manner with coworkers in all departments to accomplish the goals and objectives of the hospital for effective patient careMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishPerform other duties as may be assigned

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Including bending, stooping and stretching,
