We are hiring for a Supervisor at our Langley - Downtown Save-On-Foods location in Langley, BC.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, and the successful applicant must have open availability.
You will be responsible for:
Leading the store team, acting as a coach, mentor, and resource while fostering a positive team environment focused on Always Customer First service. Supporting the management team in achieving operational excellence through customer experience, health and safety, food safety, merchandising, and front end operations. Providing support across departments as needed to maintain service and operational standards. Supporting with team member related initiatives as requested. Communicating key messages to the store team to ensure alignment with business objectives. Reviewing business/HR metrics and dashboards to monitor store performance. Assisting the management team with implementing strategies to grow sales and customer loyalty. Supporting with centre of store inventory as well as department stocktaking as required. Performing all job duties throughout the store as needed, including lifting weight (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods of time, and working in hot/cold environments.You have:
2-4 years of retail experience. Leadership experience is an asset. Food Safe Certification. A post-secondary education in a business related field is an asset. Experience and/or knowledge with:Achieving sales targets and profitability. Financial planning and budgeting. Developing and executing merchandising plans. Human Resources (e.g. recruitment, training, development and coaching). Employee Relations and knowledge of the collective agreement (if applicable).Scheduling. Proficiency with computer applications.You are:
