What will you be doing?

Outbound coordination: Manage team to coordinate wholesale outbound domestic and international transportation moves Daily management: Oversee outbound routing workflow, monitoring routing staff and issue resolution Train team members: Ensure each associate is able to use appropriate systems to identify orders that are available for customer routing Partner with external teams: Manage transportation service provider relationships using contracted and approved carriers Prioritize shipping needs: Coordinate special, last minute shipping requests with distribution leadership team, expediting any order as necessary Maintain current work instructions: Ensure detailed processing requirements for each account Report on and forecast shipments: Develop and utilize reporting tools to monitor customer orders and shipments to meet monthly shipping forecast, and to maintain balanced workflow for all team members

Qualifications that make you the perfect fit!

Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business or Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics or related business area preferred 3-5 years’ experience in a Distribution Center, Transportation Department or Customer Service field preferred Knowledge of Domestic Regulations and agencies preferred, DOT, CFR 49 etc. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, basic typing skills and experience with a Warehouse Management System Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
