Supervisor, Security Operations Center

As Supervisor, Security Operations Center at Spectrum, you will guide a team dedicated to safeguarding company assets, coordinating incident response and providing timely intelligence to key stakeholders. Your expertise will ensure seamless operations and proactive threat management that directly supports Spectrum’s mission to protect what matters most.


How You’ll Make an Impact   

Lead and manage a team of Security Operations Specialists to monitor and analyze incidents, identifying risks and threats to Spectrum assetsSupervise collection and assessment of information from multiple electronic platforms including phone, email, instant messaging, security access and video surveillance systemsOversee incident management functions, ensuring coordination with stakeholders and initiation of cases in Spectrum’s investigative management systemEnsure accurate and timely dissemination of information and situational reports to security leaders and stakeholdersManage shift personnel performance and compliance with Spectrum standard operating proceduresFacilitate ongoing training and professional development for team members, supporting their growthCommunicate with Corporate Security leaders, providing informed recommendations on actual or potential risks and threatsContinuously review and optimize standard operating procedures for improved efficiency and effectiveness

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

Required Qualifications   

Education  

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience   

2+ years of equivalent military, law enforcement or security operations center work experience

Skills   

Self-starter able to execute tasks and lead team members in all aspects of incidentDemonstrated experience leading a team during stressful situations by providing clear direction and guidanceAbility to manage team to work multiple priorities simultaneously, working efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines and in a stressful environmentAbility to effectively communicate with executive leadership and provide concise situational awareness and seek critical details and guidance when necessaryEffective decision-making ability during emergenciesEffective research and analytical skillsEffective documentation and written communication skills with the ability to prepare executive level situational reportsEffective oral communication skills with the ability to present incident details in a clear and concise manner to regional security leaders and executive level managementEffective computer proficiency in Microsoft office applications, GIS systems, and other open-source search engines and applicationsOrganization and planning skillsTechnical competence for video and alarm monitoring systemsEffective interpersonal skills and ability develop and maintain working relationships with all levels of leadership

1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience

2+ years of experience working in an operations centerWorking knowledge and experience with various security technologies, access control systems, incident management software, and other video surveillance softwareKnowledge of security operations and procedures applicable to a 24-hour environmentStrong customer service and service delivery orientation
