DESCRIPTION:
As a Payroll Supervisor at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our workforce. Leading a team of payroll specialists, you will oversee end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance process improvements and resolve complex payroll matters. This position offers an opportunity to develop your leadership skills while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in end-to-end payroll processing
• Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field
• Professional payroll certifications or qualifications preferred
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in payroll operations
• Strong knowledge of multi-country payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements
• Expertise in payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or similar platforms
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and lookup functions
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrated leadership skills with proven ability to coach and develop team members
• Strong project management and organizational capabilities
• Effective communication skills at all levels
• Experience working in international organizations across different cultures
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and compliance standards
• Proficiency in managing vendor relationships and service level agreements
• Experience with payroll audits and internal controls
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Initiative and commitment to process improvement
• Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
