This is a hands-on role with the supervisor participating in production and completing work orders while supervising direct reports.Key responsibilities:Responsible for meeting the operations financial targets, key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks including productivity, operating income, revenue, margins, inventory, and growthEnsure production completion on time and compliance with standardsSupervise a team of 4-5 to achieve delivery, safety, quality, and cost targetsSupport operational goals and continuous improvementConduct reviews to address performance issuesEncourage employee input and accountabilityMonitor and improve manufacturing and quality activitiesCollaborate with teams and supply chain for materialsReview and release batch recordsTrain and mentor staffEvaluate nonconformance, OOS, SCAR, and CAPA and approve document changesManage orders and inventory via ERP requirementsPerform additional tasks as neededKeys to Success:EducationPreferred: B.S. Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related fieldExperience4-5 years of relevant industry experiencePreferred experience managing and developing staff in manufacturing or distributionFamiliarity with handling hazardous chemicals and adhering to quality and regulatory standardsKnowledge, Skills, AbilitiesKnowledge of manufacturing techniques, FDA, GMP, and ISO 13485 complianceProven ability to achieve results, communicate effectively, and make sound decisions in uncertain conditionsPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentThe physical work requirements typically include a combination of office and labwork. Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $91,000.00–$121,200.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
