The Supervisor, Office Women's Center manages the non clinical staff and attends to the needs of the Women's Center department. Responsible for maximizing efficient operational patient flow and care coordination with other departments. Interacts and communicates with staff from various support services, patients and department co-workers. Provides strategic, business, and administrative support to the Clinical Manager of the department.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Supervisor, Office Womens Health at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:

Tracks, follows up and assists patients with billing issues, obtains preauthorization for patients when needed.Works directly with the hospital/physician billing department to confirm all charges and codes are accurate and appropriate. Assists Clinical Manager with month end statistical reporting, expense reporting, and FTE management and productivity. Gather daily operations data such as physician referrals, patient delays, patient throughput, next appointment availability (all appointments), and manipulation of the schedule to meet monthly volume requirements for reporting purposes to the clinical manager. Assists with strategic marketing development for the department in terms of growth, community outreach, education and awareness campaigns related to breast health and mammography services; Build programs to expand appointment availability in meeting the demand of the community members and physician referrals. Collects and analyzes administrative data such as appointment statistics and patient demographics, and uses the data to inform decision making and improve center efficiency. Oversees schedulers productivity, front desk troubleshooting support, and imaging library to confirm confidentiality, and maintain high level of patient satisfaction. Provides support whenever and where appropriate as needed, scheduling, arriving patients, and imaging library. Tracks customer and employee satisfaction, responding to all departmental and patient related issues and concerns. Creates initiatives for patient retention and growth. Effectively uses all required IT systems, Epic, PACS and powerscribe. Responsible for managing all marketing collateral to confirm all up to date and that information is appropriate and accurate. Coordinates with physician liaison outreach on new departmental initiatives. Responsible for recruitment, development, cross training, and supervision of team members. Creates and sustains an environment that fosters team member engagement. Works with management to develop and implement on ongoing patient satisfaction Oversees the `Paint the Town Pink' voucher program. Manages the ordering of office supplies appropriately for clerical, front desk, and imaging library. Oversees MQSA patient letters for quality assurance. Other duties and/or projects as assigned. Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Bachelor's Degree. A minimum of 5 years of experience in communication, marketing, business development or related healthcare experience. Demonstrates strong customer service skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

Experience with health care insurance. Leadership experience.

Compensation
Starting at $60,174.40 Annually

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The posted rate of pay in this job posting is a reasonable good faith estimate of the minimum base pay for this role at the time of posting in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market-competitive total rewards package.

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
