Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Supervisor, Environmental Services - Environmental Srvcs - Full-Time - Monday - Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM with Alternating Weekends.
In this role, the successful candidate Must possess interpersonal skills necessary for the effective leadership of assigned personnel. Possess skills necessary to prepare work schedules, prioritize work assignments and maintain a variety of records. Prepare reports; review discharge schedules and ensure adequate supplies are available for efficient operations of department. Knowledgeable and proficient with Hospital Policy and Procedures, Infection control and safety procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Recommends promotion, discipline, and other administrative action. Reports problems relating to staffing, morale, work methods, procedures, transfers and recommends action in all personnel matters for those personnel assigned them.
• Is responsible for all safety regulations in assigned areas of supervision. Interprets departmental and hospital rules and regulations where applicable to those personnel assigned them.
• Participates in the formal teaching programs and in service education classes as required.
• Is responsible for the procurement, storage and routing of supplies. May recommend at times the procurement and necessity for maintenance of equipment.
• Performs duties of subordinate personnel in response to workload demands. In doing so, operates equipment and performs procedures as outlined in the supervisors job description.
• Maintains knowledge of current trends and techniques in the field in order to enhance expertise by reading appropriate journals, books and other literature and attending inservices and the like.
• Responsible for the supervision of all subordinate personnel assigned to them.
• Ensures all staff are in compliance with all mandatory hospital and departmental inservice requirements.
• Creates daily and monthly work schedules assigns and distributes work to staff based on their levels of knowledge, skills and expertise. Rearranges individual workloads and assignments to respond to overall workload and available staffing.
• Meets budget commitments for materials, supplies and personnel. Controls expenses and overtime. Seeks alternative methods to achieve budget objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
To qualify you must have a Organizational skills. BLS certification, de-escalation and first aid training.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment.
Interpersonal skills.
Basic personal computer knowledge and intermediate word processing and spreadsheet skills.
Two or more years related progressive work experience.

The salary range for the role is $66,300.00 - $66,300.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
