Ready to lead a high-performing team dedicated to advancing network infrastructure standards? As a HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) Design Supervisor at Spectrum, you’ll lead a team of Designers, coordinate policy implementation and drive technical excellence in both coax and PON design. Your leadership will shape critical processes and boost operational performance, making a measurable difference in Spectrum’s service delivery.

Shift will be Saturday – Wednesday 8am to 5pm.


How You’ll Make an Impact

Lead teams of Designers in administering and maintaining company-wide HFC standards for coax and PON designCoordinate the development and execution of policies, procedures and performance measurements to ensure effective design operationsMonitor and assist daily business activities to maintain design allocations and track commitments for measurable metricsDevelop and mentor your team to encourage solution sharing and knowledge transfer across Design EngineeringRespond to technical questions and concerns, acting as a liaison between construction and technical operations groupsAssist with departmental OPEX and capital reporting to support budget and resource managementIdentify and administer technical training for continual team development

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalentCollege coursework or specialized training in drafting such as AutoCAD or other CAD design

Experience

4+ years of relevant work experience1+ years of relevant leadership experience

Skills

Advanced knowledge of HFC Design and drafting techniques on various electronic media including Bentley or AutoCADSpatial and GIS ability in applications such as MapInfo, ArcGIS and Google EarthAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusionsCapable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment while meeting goals and deadlines within budgetWorking knowledge of city and map readingStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communicationAble to work independently and to prioritize and organize tasks effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and ProjectAbility to supervise and motivate others

The base pay for this position generally is between $67,100.00 and $107,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
