The Governor’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a dynamic Communications Supervisor to lead the way in crafting and delivering impactful internal employee communication and key external messaging. In this role, you will be the bridge between leadership, employees, and other critical stakeholders—making sure every message is clear, engaging, and aligns with OIT’s purpose, goals, and values. You will create compelling content, optimizing distribution strategies, and ensuring our channels—from the intranet to events—are fresh, accessible, and effective. Your communications leadership will promote transparency, collaboration, and a positive culture across OIT. This is a hands-on leadership role—you’ll both set the strategy and roll up your sleeves to execute communication plans while mentoring and inspiring your team to deliver vital information to OIT employees, state agency customers, the Colorado General Assembly, and Coloradans. As a first-line leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your assigned communications unit and the ongoing coaching of team members.
