Lead daily operations of the department, ensuring top-tier cleaning, decontamination, sterilization, assembly, and distribution of surgical instruments Supervise, mentor, and support a team of skilled technicians, promoting a culture of accountability, growth, and compassion Serve as a key resource for clinical teams, solving issues, answering questions, and ensuring service excellence Partner with the manager to maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards Drive performance improvement and help spread best practices across the department and hospital Champion education and development by coordinating internal and external training opportunities Lead initiatives that promote diversity, team wellness, and a positive work culture Participate in staff evaluations, scheduling, and strategic planning for departmental success Share knowledge through presentations, posters, and innovation efforts
