Purpose of the job
Manage and control all power requirements and environmental issues.
Duties and responsibilities
Managing new sites, power sizing, and work orders. Initiate, plan, and handle a whole project life cycle until closing concerning OPEX savings, and hand over to operation (interacting with procurements, vendors, assigning budget, assigning team stakeholders, sponsors, project constraints, project requirements, etc.). Managing power implementation for the 2G, 3G, LTE, and 5G. Hand over the completed project deliverables to operations and maintenance. Managing projects, suppliers, subcontractors, consultants (tenders, PRs, POs, stock, work orders, acceptance, invoices, etc.) and monitoring their performance. Develop the energy optimization roadmap, including segmentation of the sites to apply the most profitable energy initiatives in each segment, conducting sensitivity analysis according to the expected energy prices, and setting the pool of sites, budget, and target savings. Prepare the necessary procurement documents (RFPs, RFQs, etc.). Pursue market research to identify opportunities in new energy innovations. Scan the market for solutions to optimize the energy costs for the network and arrange trials for each solution on sites to test applicability.Job specification
Education
Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of experience, including in a supervisory role.
Previous experience in the telecommunications industry is an asset.
Skills and abilities
Very good English both spoken and written. Very good computer skills.
