Otis Elevator Company est à la recherche d’un(e) superviseur(e) des opérations de réparation très motivé(e) afin d’accroître la productivité et la performance des projets de réparation pour la succursale et les clients. Le ou la superviseur(e) des opérations de réparation joue un rôle essentiel dans l’exécution des projets, la satisfaction des clients et la performance globale de l’entreprise, en coordonnant les ressources, les matériaux et les échéanciers afin d’assurer la livraison réussie des projets.

Responsabilités essentielles

Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le surintendant des réparations pour estimer, planifier et exécuter les projets de réparationCoordonner la livraison des matériaux et émettre les bons de commande de façon rapide et rentableDévelopper et maintenir des relations professionnelles et productives avec les collègues, les employés sur le terrain, les clients et les autres parties prenantes impliquées dans les projets de réparationPrévoir et planifier les ressources en main-d’œuvre afin d’assurer la réussite des projets tout en maintenant les normes de qualité et en améliorant l’efficacité opérationnelleAnalyser avec précision les exigences des projets et contribuer à l’élaboration de plans de contingence pour les estimations et les défis liés à l’exécution

Formation / certifications

Diplôme universitaire en ingénierie, certificat de métier et/ou un minimum de 5 années d’expérience dans le domaine des ascenseurs

Qualifications de base

Capacité à travailler dans un environnement hautement collaboratif et dynamiqueCapacité à travailler efficacement sous pressionLe ou la candidat(e) doit démontrer d’excellentes aptitudes en communication écrite et orale en français et en anglais, permettant une collaboration efficace avec les équipes internes et les clients externesFaire preuve d’autonomie et être capable de gérer plusieurs projets et responsabilités simultanémentÊtre à l’aise dans un environnement technique utilisant des logiciels informatiques basés sur MicrosoftSolides compétences en gestion du temps et en organisationCe poste est de nature technique et exige la capacité de se rendre sur les chantiers, de comprendre le fonctionnement des systèmes d’ascenseurs et de connaître les principaux composants, pièces et méthodes de réparation

Qualifications souhaitées

Une formation ou une expérience dans un environnement technique, d’ingénierie, de construction ou industriel constitue un atoutFort intérêt pour l’apprentissage du secteur des ascenseurs et le développement de compétences en coordination et supervision de projetsUne expérience préalable en coordination, planification ou soutien dans un rôle axé sur les opérations est préférée

Repair Operations Supervisor

Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Repair Operations Supervisor to drive productivity and the performance of repair projects for the branch and customers. The Repair Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in project execution, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance by coordinating resources, materials, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.

Essential Responsibilities

Work closely with the Repair Superintendent to estimate, plan, and execute repair projectsRegularly attend job sites to review project scope, assess technical requirements, and collaborate with field personnelCoordinate material deliveries and issue purchase orders in a timely and cost-effective mannerDevelop and maintain professional, productive relationships with co-workers, field employees, clients, and other stakeholders involved in repair projectsForecast and schedule labor resources to ensure successful project completion while maintaining quality standards and improving operational efficiencyAccurately analyze project requirements and assist in developing contingencies for estimates and execution challenges

Education / Certifications

A University Degree in Engineering, a trade certificate, and/or 5+ years in the elevator field

Basic Qualifications

Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environmentAbility to work effectively under pressureCandidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external customersNeeds to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilitiesSuccessful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer softwareStrong time management and organizational skillsRole is technical in nature and requires the ability to attend job sites, understand how elevator systems operate, and be familiar with major elevator components, parts, and repair methods

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or education in a technical, engineering, construction, or industrial environment is an assetStrong interest in learning the elevator industry and developing project coordination skillsPrevious coordination, planning, or support experience in an operations-focused role is preferred
