The Repair Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in project execution, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance by coordinating resources, materials, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery. **Essential Responsibilities** + Work closely with the Repair Superintendent to estimate, plan, and execute repair projects + Regularly attend job sites to review project scope, assess technical requirements, and collaborate with field personnel + Coordinate material deliveries and issue purchase orders in a timely and cost-effective manner + Develop and maintain professional, productive relationships with co-workers, field employees, clients, and other stakeholders involved in repair projects + Forecast and schedule labor resources to ensure successful project completion while maintaining quality standards and improving operational efficiency + Accurately analyze project requirements and assist in developing contingencies for estimates and execution challenges **Education / Certifications** + A University Degree in Engineering, a trade certificate, and/or 5+ years in the elevator field **Basic Qualifications** + Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment + Ability to work effectively under pressure + Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external customers + Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilities + Successful candidate should be very comfortable in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer software + Strong time management and organizational skills + Role is technical in nature and requires the ability to attend job sites, understand how elevator systems operate, and be familiar with major elevator components, parts, and repair methods **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience or education in a technical, engineering, construction, or industrial environment is an asset + Strong interest in learning the elevator industry and developing project coordination skills + Previous coordination, planning, or support experience in an operations-focused role is preferred Otis Canada, Inc. welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
