Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring compliance with the project specific safety plan and all applicable occupational health and safety legislation. Ensuring project schedules are metMaintaining company standards in regards to quality protocolsConducting regular field inspections and follow up with subcontractors in regards to quality of work orders completedProviding support and guidance to subcontractorsEnsuring the Contractor is in compliance with internal corporate programs, policies and standardsManaging subcontractor invoicesTaking action to monitor and control costsManaging escalations and provide exceptional customer service to clients related to quality, work performed, standards, etc.Overseeing all client specific requirements based on contract requirementsQualifications:
3-5 years of telecommunications experience required (inside wiring experience preferred). Completed post-secondary degree or diploma in telecommunications or related field is an assetProven experience overseeing subcontractors and multiple project locations simultaneouslyAbility to lead and direct the work of othersProven ability to plan and organize workloads and work with multiple deadlinesFamiliarity with the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, including OSP, inside plant, and applicable building codes.Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsExcellent written and oral communication skillsDemonstrate effective decision-making skills, self-motivated, ability to prioritize and organize workloads with little directionMust be computer savvy, able to handle multiple computer applicationsWork Conditions:
