Job Title: Site SuperintendentJob Description

We are seeking a Site Superintendent to join our growing team. The primary responsibility of this position is to help lead the MCR team in managing the construction of solar systems efficiently and within budget, ensuring daily on-site presence. The ideal candidate will be a well-organized, experienced construction professional capable of working collaboratively.

ResponsibilitiesAttend site walks and pre-construction planning meetings with the construction manager, project manager, and engineering team as required.Manage and maintain the construction schedule, providing daily reports and documentation through Procore.Communicate project-related safety, quality, and subcontractor performance to the construction manager.Set goals with the construction manager for all subcontractors and motivate them to stay on task.Attend all FAI inspections and lead when the construction manager is unavailable.Perform QA/QC inspections in coordination with RQM and maintain a daily inspection log.Conduct SWWWP inspections and report deficiencies to the construction manager and project manager.Attend weekly subcontractor calls and other meetings as requested.Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to optimize job efficiencies.Conduct equipment inspections, collect and upload all relevant documents, and report deficiencies to the construction manager.Coordinate daily with subcontractors and initiate questions through the RFI system with the construction manager.Contribute feedback and problem-solving ideas to the MCR team.Adhere to safety standards and installation best practices, taking responsibility for crew safety.Address unsafe conditions and discipline non-compliant crew members.Travel to sites outside of the territory when needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills3+ years of solar superintendent or construction supervision experience.3+ years of electrical or mechanical background.Strong technology background.Experience with electrical construction and components.Strong organization and time management skills.Attention to detail and quality assessment capability.OSHA 10 certification required.Additional Skills & QualificationsGood verbal and written communication skills (Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus).Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and contract exhibits.Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.Self-motivated work style with the ability to work independently and as a team player.Ability to influence adherence to company policies and procedures.Proficient in operating computers and learning new software.Experience with mechanical, civil, and electrical aspects of solar array installations.Problem-solving and conflict management skills.Strong knowledge of various construction areas (civil, mechanical, electrical).Exceptional leadership skills.Risk assessment and management capabilities.Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and scheduling software.Valid driver's license and eligibility for corporate vehicle insurance.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Candidates will work primarily outdoors with a site trailer serving as a field office. The role involves quality control work on a solar farm project. The standard work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm, with common weekend work. Expect to work 0-15 hours of overtime per week. A per diem of $120 is provided for days worked.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
