Superintendent
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Superintendent to join our team for a large-scale fiber to the home deployment project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations, developing project plans, and monitoring performance. Recognized as an expert, they anticipate client needs and provide solutions, sharing expertise and mentoring colleagues.

Essential Responsibilities 

Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codes 

 Leads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigations 

Reviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedules 

 Estimates activity durations and materials for complex projects 

Working knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the project 

Participates in subcontractor negotiations 

Will set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field team 

Provides leadership and mentorship to project staff and Superintendents 

Qualifications 

8 plus years of experience in as a Telecommunications construction Superintendent 

Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset 

Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practices 

Effective Communication and leadership skills 

Ability to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractors 

Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issues 

Strong organizational and planning skills 

Working Conditions 

This is a site-based position 

This position may require up to 25% travel throughout the state of WI between project sites
