Job Title: SuperintendentJob Description

The Superintendent is responsible for developing, evaluating, and influencing effective productivity and teamwork to ensure the delivery of Legendary Customer Service (LCS). The role involves performing daily Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) to ensure compliance with Issued for Construction drawings and correcting any defects in a timely manner. The Superintendent manages construction to the project schedule to ensure on-time delivery and completion, while ensuring all regulations are met and required permits are acquired. This includes coordinating with Utilities and other Permitting agencies. The role also involves proactively identifying elements of proposed project designs and construction requirements that could lead to disputes, claims, increased costs, or adversely impact the organization’s image.

ResponsibilitiesProvide professional oversight to ensure project completion in a timely manner and within budget.Monitor, evaluate, and report the ongoing status of construction projects both operationally and financially.Communicate effectively with both internal departments and external subcontractors and suppliers when revisions and/or addendums are required.Evaluate and approve all payment applications and invoices related to construction capital projects, ensuring budget compliance.Manage field operations management including the execution of subcontracts and component procedures.Select vendors, contractors, and/or subcontractors that provide exemplary, professional service in the most cost-efficient manner.Exercise professional judgment in the selection of subcontractors to complete construction projects while maintaining productive relationships.Maintain consistent and accurate records of activities throughout projects, including final reviews of projects post completion.Ensure safety and adherence to all applicable safety policies; comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards.Perform other duties as assigned.Schedule projects, material shipment, surveys, and other types of daily scheduling.Supervise all solar installation activities.Ensure the safety and compliance of solar projects.
Essential Skills3+ years of experience in site construction management in commercial and utility-scale solar PV field.Direct experience in managing projects more than 1 Megawatt and all aspects of solar projects including Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical.Knowledge in Solar and Construction Industry.Ability to prepare reports, budgets, and maintain records.Proficiency in MS Office Products including MS Project.OHSA 30 certification.
Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.NABCEP Installer certification is preferred.NFPA 70E certification is preferred.
Work Environment

This role is generally performed outdoors on a jobsite and may involve exposure to extreme weather conditions, including inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of West Lake Hills, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
