We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead exciting ground-up construction projects, including schools and multi-family developments. This role involves overseeing commercial construction projects valued at $50 million and above, located throughout Washington, DC.
ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise all aspects of ground-up construction projects.Coordinate with project managers and assistant project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Collaborate with stakeholders, including subcontractors and vendors, to maintain project schedules and budgets.Conduct regular site inspections and address any construction challenges promptly.
Essential Skills10+ years of experience as a Superintendent at a commercial general contractor.5+ years of commercial construction experience with a focus on ground-up projects.Proven track record of managing large base-build projects, particularly schools.Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC).
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with DGS (Department of General Services).Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial, ground-up school projects ranging from $40 million to $200 million. This role primarily involves managing the project on site, handling all RFIs, submittals, change orders, and budgets, and dealing with scheduling and financial aspects. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading general contractor in the DC area.
