This role involves managing field operations, ensuring compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and safety standards while leading both self-performed and contracted work. Responsibilities + Arrive at the job site between 6:00 to 6:30 am to start the day. + Lead and manage field operations effectively. + Oversee self-performed and contracted work to ensure quality and efficiency. + Ensure compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and safety standards. Essential Skills + Experience as a Superintendent within education facilities, with a preference for K-12 projects. + Experience with base build and ground-up construction. + Ability to potentially work nights and weekends to maintain project schedules. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience supporting projects valued at $100 million. + Experience overseeing multiple jobs simultaneously. Work Environment This role is based 100% at the project site, with a commitment to place candidates at the closest job near their home, though this is not always guaranteed. Project durations typically range from 18 to 24+ months, with a presence in both Virginia and Maryland markets. The role demands early mornings, potential night and weekend work, with average weekly hours ranging from 50 to 60. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Rockville, Maryland.
