We’re seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on a high-priority project at JFK Terminal One. 🔍 About the Role
As the Construction Superintendent, you’ll oversee daily site operations, manage trade coordination, and ensure compliance with rigorous safety and quality standards. You’ll be the boots-on-the-ground leader, working closely with subcontractors, engineers, inspectors, and client reps to keep the project moving smoothly and efficiently.
🛠️ Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage daily construction activities, including scheduling, logistics, and coordination of tradesEnforce strict compliance with OSHA and PANYNJ safety protocolsMonitor quality control to ensure work aligns with contract documents and design specificationsConduct regular site inspections and maintain detailed documentation (daily reports, manpower logs, safety records)Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve field issues and maintain project momentumSupport project closeout procedures, including punch list completion and turnover✅ QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)Minimum5 years of site experience, with at least5 years as a SuperintendentProven experience in public infrastructure and heavy civil projects (bridges, roadways, highways)OSHA 30 certification requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platformsStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage field teams and subcontractors🌟 Preferred ExperienceHeavy civil and aviation project experience is essentialFamiliarity with PANYNJ procedures and standards is a strong plus🏗️ Work EnvironmentBased on-site at JFK Terminal OneFast-paced, dynamic construction environmentDaily coordination with multiple stakeholders including engineers, inspectors, and client representativesAdherence to strict safety and operational standardsPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $79.00/hr.
