Essential Responsibilities:
Will ensure projects meet approved plans, specifications, and building codesLeads the development of Project Quality Plans and Safety Programs, and oversees incident investigationsReviews and updates construction schedules, addresses delays, and contributes to project schedulesEstimates activity durations and materials for complex projectsWorking knowledge of reporting and tracking of financial aspects of the projectParticipates in subcontractor and supplier selection, procurement and negotiationsWill set priorities and allocate resources as needed for the entire field teamProvides leadership and mentorship to project staff and SuperintendentsQualifications:
We’re hiring for multiple levels of project management roles in telecommunications construction. Ideal candidates will bring a mix of the following:
For senior-level roles: 8+ years of telecom or utility supervisory experience, with a proven track record of leading large, complex infrastructure buildsFor mid-level roles: 4–7 years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility as Foreperson or SuperintendentPost-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an assetComprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, and current construction practicesAbility to directly supervise craft employees as well as sub-contractorsProblem-solving abilities and the capacity to anticipate and address issuesStrong organizational and planning skillsWorking Conditions:
