**Construction Superintendent** $120,000 to $145,000 yearly Permanent Position (No contract) **Job Description** We are seeking a highly experienced Superintendent with over 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and supervising construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing job cost information. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train and manage field personnel effectively. **Responsibilities** + Plan and supervise all field-related activities, including determining the method of construction sequencing activities. + Apply knowledge of applicable plans, specifications, and project work scope. + Manage the day-to-day activities of the construction operation, including documentation of activities on a daily basis. + Provide job cost information to the Project Manager, including cost coding of invoices, monthly job cost quantity reporting, and monthly pay requisition quantities. + Monitor trade and subcontractor compliance with project safety program requirements, perform weekly safety inspections and toolbox talks, and document and ensure corrective measures are implemented. + Assist the Safety Manager in performing incident and/or accident investigations. + Prepare for and attend status meetings. + Train field personnel. + Perform project close-out in concert with the Project Manager and ensure applicable punch list is completed in a cost-effective and timely manner. **Essential Skills** + 5 plus years of experience as a Superintendent. + Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Technology Preferred. + Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. + Effective communication skills. + Experience in construction supervision, general contractor management, and subcontractor management. + Proficient in Microsoft Windows. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Working knowledge of construction scheduling and cost control. + Ability to supervise multiple crews and subcontractors. + Strong organization, multi-tasking, leadership, and decision-making abilities. + Basic survey experience preferred. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing, Boston-based Civil/Environmental Remediation Contractor with job sites throughout New England.
