The Neuropsychology Department of Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital is currently accepting applications for a full-time clinical neuropsychologist. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package including an annual stipend for continuing education and funding for the board certification process.
Position Would Entail:
Neuropsychological services to both inpatient and outpatient adult and pediatric neurological populations within a JCAHO/CARF accredited acute rehabilitation hospital serving upstate NY and beyond.Specialty programs within the hospital include Brain Injury and Stroke.Neuropsychologists work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team with emphasis on assessment, but with opportunities for clinical research through the James A. Eddy Memorial Foundation Research Institution.Structure of Team:
The Neuropsychology Department employs 6 full time neuropsychologists, providing excellent opportunities for peer interaction and consultation.Regularly scheduled case and literature reviews and didactic inservices, such as Grand Rounds, enhance professional development.Two psychometricians provide testing assistanceThe Department has served as a practicum site for doctoral level graduate students for the past 25 years allowing opportunities for provision of training and supervision.Administrative support is provided with regard to scheduling and billing.Minimum Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in clinical psychology or clinical neuropsychology.2 year post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology.Eligible for diplomate in clinical neuropsychology from American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).NY State License.Pay Range: $46.55 - $66.60
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
