Overview:
  
The Global Markets Business Support and Monitoring IT team is seeking a Summit Application Support Analyst to provide Level 1–2 functional and technical support for the Summit (Finastra) platform and related trading applications across Global Markets (Rates, FX, Credit, and Commodities).
  
This role is hands-on, working directly with traders, sales, and risk teams to ensure the smooth operation of front-office trading systems, trade capture, and downstream processes. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented support professional who understands trade workflows and is comfortable operating in a high-pressure trading environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  
• Act as the primary front-line support for Summit users across Front Office, Middle Office, and Risk teams.
  
• Monitor daily trade flow, booking, and pricing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of trade capture and position updates.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues in Summit (connectivity, configuration, market data, pricing, or booking errors).
  
• Support end-of-day processes, P&L calculations, and position/risk reconciliation in collaboration with Front Office and Risk Control teams.
  
• Log, track, and manage incidents through established ticketing systems, escalating to development or infrastructure teams as required.
  
• Maintain system stability and performance monitoring — including trade gateways, interfaces, and batch jobs.
  
• Collaborate with global IT and business support teams to manage production releases, patches, and system changes.
  
• Validate new Summit configurations and assist in UAT testing for upgrades, bug fixes, and environment refreshes.
  
• Assist in static data management (instrument setup, curves, counterparties, and reference data).
  
• Provide training and procedural documentation for front office and support users as needed.
  
• Participate in on-call rotation or extended-hour coverage for trading hours and critical production events.

Skills and Requirements
  
• 4–8 years of application support experience within Global Markets or Investment Banking.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Summit (Finastra) — including troubleshooting, configuration, and production support.
  
• Solid understanding of front-to-back trade workflows for products such as FX, Rates, Credit Derivatives, and Repos.
  
• Familiarity with pricing, P&L, and risk management concepts within Summit or similar trade management platforms.
  
• Basic SQL skills for data analysis and root-cause troubleshooting.
  
• Experience supporting or integrating systems such as MarkitWire, Bloomberg, Reuters, or Murex is a plus.
  
• Proven ability to work directly with traders and sales teams under tight deadlines and dynamic market conditions.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — capable of translating user issues into actionable technical tasks.
  
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational capabilities.
  
• Knowledge of ITIL and Agile support methodologies preferred.
