Job Summary

Production Relief Summer Students are required to provide vacation relief on our manufacturing floor from May to the end of August.   Students will help feed corrugated stock into our machines with safety, quality and attendance being key components of the job. Students will be required to work an 8-hour day, Monday to Friday on one of the following steady shifts - days, afternoons, or nights.

 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

•Working as part of a team you are responsible for the daily production of quality corrugated products in a safe and efficient manner

•Demonstrate attention to detail by ensuring order specs and special requirements are accurately followed

•Perform production quality checks according to WestRock production requirements

•Work efficiently and effectively, while ensuring a safe work environment, a quality product, and a satisfied customer

•Maintain proper housekeeping practices to ensure a safe work environment

•Other duties as assigned

 

What you need to succeed:

Must be 18 years of age and enrolled in post-secondary education

Able to work on one of the 3 shifts available as assigned

Physically able to stand for long periods of time and do repetitive movements.

Must be capable of lifting up to 40lbs.
