**Job Description** **Primary Duties / Responsibilities:** + Learn about DFA and the different careers within the Food Industry + Assist with the development of new products, improvement of existing products, maintenance of cost-effective formulations, and timely resolution of technical service issues related to Fluid, Cultured, and Frozen Dairy Products + Complete Laboratory testing and Conduct Pilot Plant trials + Research, design, propose, and complete a summer project aligned with the candidate’s interests. Project work will include collaborating with suppliers, sales, and/or marketing to design a new product that aligns with potential business opportunities. **Requirements** **Educational Requirements:** Will have completed at least their sophomore year of an undergraduate program and at most have recently completed an undergraduate degree. **Desired Degree Focus:** Food Science Also acceptable: Culinology, Biological Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Microbiology An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans **Pay Range** $22/hourly
