Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

 

Ensures that consistently correct serving techniques for various meal periods will be demonstrated by all staff members through the use of job descriptions, ongoing professional training, and examplesHe is familiar with the Las Ventanas Al Paraiso Personnel Policy Manual, and adheres to established guidelines and procedures. It is dedicated to excellence, continuous development of the room Service department reputation, public relations of the hotel and its knowledge management development staffMaintains an order taking and service guideline for all food and beverage personnel in order to alleviate inconsistencies, service inefficiencies, and incorrect informationHas the management capacity capacity that guarantees the successful handling the Room Service operation While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the duties involved in this position, the company reserves the right to add, remove or alter duties when business need dictates.

 

 

CRITICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

 

 

Has a complete understanding of all the food and beverages offered at each hotel exit including the ingredients, method of preparation, and appropriate service for each item. He also has a general understanding of culinary classics as well as a complete knowledge of all the wines available on our wine list, including pronunciation, flavor, and geo-graphics of originHas complete knowledge and the ability to prepare weekly work schedules that allow adequate service based on the weekly occupancy of the resort, while controlling labor costs and over time.Maintains a daily record in the Administrator of the absence to inform the Director of Food and Beverage of unusual circumstances and to assist in anticipating future businessMaintains clean, tidy Room Service work area including tools, paintings, china, glass, silver, clothing, supplies based on the distintivo H  and distintivo M.Assists in executing banquet style service of all types and levels of complexity in boardrooms. He has a deep knowledge of the procedures and procedures services and coordinates all the room activities with the Restoration Department
