The District Substitute Teacher plays an essential role in supporting student learning by providing consistent, high-quality classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher. This position requires strong reliability and professionalism. District Substitutes will be assigned to work five days per week at the District’s discretion. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent attendance, broad availability, and the ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments. Flexibility is essential, as assignments will vary daily across all grades and subject areas. Strong classroom management skills are required to maintain a positive, productive learning atmosphere and ensure instructional continuity for all students. Required Documents: 1. CTC screenshot of current California Teaching Credential or Emergency 30-Day Substitute Permit. Certificates are not acceptable. 2. Two Letters of Recommendation 3. Resume Qualifications: 1. Must have previous substitute experience Must complete application and attach all required documents scanned as a PDF. Photographs of documents will not be accepted.
