Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Subject Matter Expert Coordination Lead to join our team! In this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our technical experts across domains are aligned, integrated, and effectively contributing to the program’s goals.
Preference is for candidates located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Parsons will consider remote/hybrid employees with the expectation of 75% travel to the NCR.
What You’ll be Doing:
Provide recommendations to your Parsons team and the Government regarding contractor labor utilization, contractor workflow, and contractor operational procedures to increase efficiency, productivity, and overall improvements to support this effort.Represent SME contributions in meetings with stakeholders and technical leadsReview SME Outputs for technical consistency, compliance and alignment with program architectureCoordinate the decision-making process between all program personnel.Coordinate and conduct in-house contract personnel actions and provide guidance and assistance to contract personnel as needed.Oversee project budgets and materials acquisition related to research under contract to ensure successful project completion.Help define SME roles, deliverables and timelines in coordination with the program scheduleMaintain cross program situational awareness and ensure cross-team integration of engineering inputs to ensure total service quality and interoperabilityFacilitate collaboration to align technical inputs with systems-level requirements and objectivesAct as the central point of contact between SMEs and leadershipLead coordination and tasking of SMEs across the functional areas.Identify cross-functional dependencies and help resolve technical conflictsWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , Systems Engineering, or a related technical field (or relevant experience)20+ years of experienceDeep familiarity with FAA ATC or similar advanced electronic systems and servicesExperience in systems and services design, function, and operational use of Air Traffic Control (radar, communications, telecommunications, automation and/or facilities) systems and technologies into an operational environmentKnowledge and skills in integrating new technologies for delivery into existing operations with critical equipment within an 24/7 operational environment with minimal systems or services interruption or degradation of safetySkills and experience in requirements development, design, development, and delivery of new technologies while working across multiple companies who specialize in different technologiesKnowledge skills and experience in identifying and mitigating risks in development and delivery of new systems and services into other legacy systems and environmentsWhat Preferred Skills You'll Bring:
Master’s degreeSpecific knowledge of the FAA or other ANSPs mission essential or mission critical Air Traffic Control systems and infrastructure strongly preferredSecurity Clearance Requirement:
