Subcontracts Contracts Manager (NEC/FIFIC,JBCC Contracts) - Mozambique
MECS
Minimum 15 years’ experience with minimum 5 years in a managerial role with Contracts (FIDIC/NEC/JBCC Contracts) on large O&G EPC Projects.
Legal
FIDIC/NEC/JBCC Contracts experience
Ensure the procedure of Subcontract Administration is implemented and followed by Subcontractors
Legal qualification
Manage the correspondence with Subcontractors ensuring that all the letters and notices are appropriately replied to considering the contractual and
legal implications
Review and validate the progress payment submitted by Subcontractors
Provide project management team support in the identification of any variations and or claims with implications on project program and forecasts, if any (i.e. delays/costs)
Analyse the issued Site Technical Queries, Site Instructions, Deviation Requests to both determine the relevant cost impact and lead the negotiation with Subcontractors for alignment on the price
Ensure that extra works, new unit prices, claims, back charges, liquidated damages and close out of the Subcontracts are performed / processed in accordance with the relevant procedure
Participate actively in change management and forecast analysis
Ensure the issuance of Completion Certificates
Ensure the regular updates of the Subcontracts Forecasts analysis
Manage commercial close out of Subcontract Agreements.
Ensure collection and sharing of lessons learned, feedback and returns of experience on issues/criticalities Construction
To be based in a camp on the Afungi Project - full board
75 days on 21 days off
60 hours per week - Mon-Sat
