HOW A SUBCONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Participating in the development, negotiation, and administration of assigned NDAs, TAs, Subcontracts, and other related agreements in accordance with client requirements and GDIT policies and proceduresParticipating in the capture process by communicating with the subcontractor teammates regarding data calls (i.e., pricing, past performance), assessing the responses received, and coordinating communicationsEnsuring timely processing of subcontract negotiations for fair and reasonable pricing as well as terms and conditions with assistance from peers or management and input from relevant stakeholdersCreating and maintaining compliant audit files in accordance with customer requirements and GDIT policies and proceduresGenerating reports on subcontract activity as requiredServing as a liaison and facilitator between the program team and the subcontractor regarding contracting issuesMaintaining current knowledge of relevant subcontract procedures and practicesInitiates and maintains a network of communication with GDIT internal stakeholders as well as external suppliersParticipating in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of related experience in subcontracts administration, contracts administration, and/or procurement.Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience in subcontracts administration, contracts administration, and/or procurementRequired Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced skill level with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Required Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the practices, procedures, and processes involved in subcontract administration. Extensive knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned subcontracts, including FAR, DFAR, and CAS. Strong administrative and organizational skills. Effective communication skills. Ability to operate and negotiate independently. Developing effective research and presentation techniques. Effective problem-solving skills.Location: This is a hybrid position working in our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite (3) days a week.Clearance: NoneUS Persons required
