Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Subaward Accountant to support post-award grant management and subcontract processing. This role involves high-volume invoice handling, contract matching, and compliance monitoring within an academic medical center environment. Key Responsibilities -Process incoming invoices from other institutions for subcontracts. -Monitor shared email inbox for invoices (30–75 per day). -Pull invoices from SharePoint and research in Workday: Identify associated contracts and grants. -Match invoices accurately to grants. -Coordinate with offshore resources for payment processing. -Escalate discrepancies when invoices do not match contracts by working with departments to secure proper funding. Skills and Requirements -2+ years of grant accounting experience -Familiarity with grant post-award processes and subcontract management -Ability to handle high-volume, multi-step workflows -Strong attention to detail and resourcefulness -Experience with workday financials (preferred) -BA degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
